Dr. Elkins is AWESOME!! Just had eye cataract removed (was truly legally blind on that eye) and now perfect! No post surgery problems either (as was my prior experience with Dr. Berg a few years ago on another eye). When you can compare you can definitely appreciate Dr. Elkins MORE!! He has great personality and best of all delivers the results he promises. I’m SUPER happy and would refer Dr. Elkins to anyone. Only few issues I’m having are with his biller, I’m STILL getting MORE bills not covered by insurance after already paying almost $5,000 out of pocket. Hopefully they will correct that issue, otherwise the staff is great and Dr. Elkins - just can’t say enough good things about how talented he is. I read 3 books, in just last 2 weeks since the surgery and gave away all of my reading glasses that used to cause me headaches. THANKS! More

I usually have seen Dr. Brad Elkins for a long time. Since his availability is less now I was asked if I wanted to see Dr, Weyuth (sp?) and my appointment was wonderful. I had many eye machine tests required and doctor was thorough and kind during final analysis and guidance. I would recommend him. Also, Shandel was an amazing nurse. He listens to your concerns and then addresses them, and gives you a complete examination where you feel that nothing has been left to chance. AND, I have never met a more wonderful staff of people. All turned out well and he validated that I had come in early based on my symptoms even though all was well! He explained thoroughly in an understandable ammine all that had transpired. Everything was great once I saw Dr. Ekins. What wasn't great was the front desk had no record of me having an appointment yesterday, Oct. 18 at 1015, and I had to wait an hour before seeing Dr. Elkins. Everyone who arrived after me was taken before me. This has not happened before so I'm hoping it was just a glitch in the system. More

Dr. Elkins is very knowledgeable, thorough and answers questions in a manner that is easy to understand. The only thing I would suggest is that for individuals who are extremely near sighted, such as myself, that after he has completed his examination, he allows time for the patient to put their contact lens back in their eyes so the patient can actually see his face as he explains his findings. It is very disconcerting to be looking at the doctor and only be able to see his extremely blurry form. More

Good visit as usual. Dr Elkiins has been my ophthalmologist for perhaps 20 years. This was sort of an "emergency" visit as I had a freak accident and poked my right eye with a branch of a potted shrub as I cleaned the area 6 days prior. The eye was definitely improving but a friend said her husband did something similar and got an infection in his eye, so I called for an appt and got in the next day. The Ophthalmic Technician (female) who saw me first was very knowledgeable and helped me understand the "layers" of the eye and that my symptoms and the improvement over the past 5 days connoted a mild irritation only. Dr Elkins subseq performed an examination and found no damage to the eye. The office has a LOT of staff, but everyone I interacted with and observed were "on task" but friendly at the same time. Esp true for the front desk staff and the member who took co-pays, etc at end of visit (both male). Overall the office is efficient, well-run, and creates a pleasant atmosphere. More
