I've been seeing Dr. Kramar at his Encino office for over 3 years now and couldn't be happier with the office, staff and most of all Dr. Kramar, a highly skilled Ophthalmologist. I did extensive online research and chose Dr Kramar over many others because of his impressive credentials and experience, but I've also found him to be extremely warm and caring as are all of the wonderful people at this exceptional facility. I can't imagine going anywhere else for my eye health. More

Dr. Kramar is a first rate ophthalmologist. He was thorough in his first examination of my eyes. Since then, I have had the YAG laser surgery to clear up the blurriness after my cataract surgery and he was quick and reassuring. Have always had a great experience with Dr Huynh. I am highly myopic and at risk for retinal detachment so I come here for my annual comprehensive exam. I come in and get shuttled around for various imaging and then get to chat with Dr Huynh while he reviews the images. It seems like they run a pretty tight ship. He’s friendly, knowledgeable and his advice always feels objective - never pushy. His staff are also kind and accommodating, which is pretty remarkable for the volume and range of personalities they must deal with on a daily basis! More

On Mother's day I had an injury to my left eye that necessitated a visit to West Hills hospital with excruciating pain after seeing me they gave me pain meds and antibiotics that did not do the trick I call Dr Kramar he was paged and offered to see me in the office within a short time he checked the eye placed a lens in the eye to relieve the pain and we both were able to celebrate Mother's day, Dr. Kramer deserves 6 stars. ABOVE AND BEYOND!!  Dr. Kramar diagnosed the problem with my 80 year old mother’s eyes when no one else could.  Without a solution, she would have gone blind.Additionally, when I told him the drops he had prescribed to save Mo’s eyesight were roughly $500/mo, he actually got on the computer in the exam room and found a compounding pharmacy which can do it for around $7/mo.  He saved an elderly woman on a fixed income about $6,000 per year.Oh, and his office runs like a tight ship.  We never wait more than 5 minutes in the waiting or exam room and we are typically out of there in under 30 minutes.Great doctor - great person! This was a follow up appointment to my two recent cataract surgeries, which were amazingly successful in restoring my eyesight. Dr.Kramar explained everything to expect in the next few months, including the possibility that my eyesight could get a little blurry, which he said could be corrected permanently with a quick laser treatment. D. Kramar is the eye stye removal king. I was reffered by a friend who saw him previously for the same problem with their eye and I am so grateful to have found him! He was extremely knowledgeable, gentle and did an amazing job removing/draining my eye stye. Very professional and clean office. I am happy to have a chance to write about my experience. It has been several years that I have been seeing Dr. Kramar. The experience with Dr. Kramar and most of his staff have been great. In my recent visit, I encountered an unpleasant experience with one of the staff members checking my vision's field of view on Visual Field Perimetry. This individual, whom I will not disclose the name, was professional in many ways. However, the way this person spoke to me was condescending and I did not appreciate the tone of voice. Perhaps that is how this person speaks to everyone but if so, this individual should find a different profession with no or very little contact with others. I don't run this practice but if I did, I would show this person the exit door in heartbeat. I am sure there are plenty of other qualified professionals that would fill that position. More

My only issue was not with Dr. Kramar, but was with the person who did my general eye exam. I believe her name was Ivy. First, when she told me to cover my left eye, I had to tell her that my left eye was my distance eye (monovision) and my right eye was close up. She told me no it was the other way around. She asked me if I wanted to be measured for contacts. I told her I was there for my annual check up and she should do whatever is required. She asked me if I wanted my eyes dialated. I again told her she needed to do whatever was necessary for my annual exam. I would not want to have her examine me again. More

Staff was working diligently to safeguard everyone -- check-in with COVID questions, taking temps, socially distancing patients and wiping down surfaces. The 1st portion of my exam, field-test, etc., was done by Irma. She was very pleasant and put me at ease. My refraction was done by Dr. Marten-Ellis. And she was patient and thorough.
