Meet Dr. Mark Kramar
As a native of San Fernando Valley, Dr. Mark H. Kramar is an award-winning, board-certified ophthalmologist who specializes in glaucoma and comprehensive ophthalmology. He has extensive experience in all aspects of glaucoma care, ranging from medical management to laser therapy to glaucoma surgical procedures including minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS). Additionally, Dr. Kramar specializes in advanced cataract surgery. When it comes to caring for his patients who suffer from glaucoma or other advanced eye conditions, Dr. Kramar believes that "glaucoma need not be a sentence for blindness. He also specializes in complex cataract procedures utilizing the latest technology. Education
Dr. Kramar received Phi Beta Kappa honors from UCLA. Following his studies at UCLA, he graduated first in his class from the Chicago Medical School. He then completed an internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and attended his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Southwestern in Dallas. To gain additional experience, Dr. Kramar pursued sub-specialty training with a fellowship in glaucoma at UCLA’s prestigious Jules Stein Eye Institute. In addition to his time at the practice, Dr. Kramar continues to teach as a clinical instructor at Jules Stein Eye Institute.
